Terms of Service

These terms govern bjarneslist.com (“bjarnesList”). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not, do not use the services.

1. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older and able to enter a contract. The directory is limited to British Columbia subject matter.

2. What this service is

bjarnesList is an informational directory. Properties may appear as unclaimed public-record style listings. Owners may later claim a record. Members may post a vehicle. We do not:

• Guarantee that anything is for sale.
• Act as a real estate brokerage or represent owners.
• Process payments or hold escrow.
• Verify identity in this first release.

3. Accounts

Demo authentication is local to your browser. You are responsible for activity under the name you choose. Do not create accounts to harass others.

4. Conduct

Do not post stolen goods, impersonate owners, scrape third-party MLS sites into this product, or upload government identification. We may remove content.

5. Content licence

You keep ownership of what you post. You grant bjarnesList a licence to display it on the service. Example listings are provided by us as fictional demonstration data.

6. Claims and verification

“Claim this listing” is a stub. Verification is coming later. We will not collect a driver's licence or Social Insurance Number in this version, and we ask you not to send those documents to us.

7. Private transactions

Any deal is between users, off-platform. You do your own due diligence, including legal review for real property in B.C.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent allowed by B.C. law, bjarnesList is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability will not exceed CAD $100.
