About these records

bjarnesList is a British Columbia directory of properties that are not actively for sale. Members can still post their own homes and vehicles. To keep browse from sitting vacant, this site also shows unclaimed public-record fill from official municipal open data — not realtor inventory.

What you are looking at

Each civic record is marked unclaimed public-record fill. Values are assessed values, never asking prices. There are no owner names, mailing lists, or realtor photographs. Card images, when a Maps key is set, are on-demand Google Street View or satellite stills — not scraped listing photos and not an interactive map widget. Claim stays stubbed: we do not collect a driver's licence or SIN.

Record counts

• 57,904 listings on browse from open data (30,459 residential, 22,339 commercial, 5,106 industrial).
• Vancouver: 24,846 of 24,902 source rows after dropping 56 without a civic street. Filter: report_year=2026 AND zoning_classification IN ("Commercial","Industrial"). This is not the full ~229k residential roll.
• Victoria: 33,058 GENERAL-roll rows with a civic address. 33,698 SCHOOL duplicate rows and 22 address-less rows were omitted from 67,396 source rows.

What we did not use

Nothing was scraped from realtor.ca, rew.ca, MLS, BC Assessment Search, or any realtor/broker site. City of Vancouver and City of Victoria website HTML was not downloaded. City crests are not used.

Imported 2026-08-27. Unclaimed public-record fill from official municipal open data. Not asking prices. No owner names. Vancouver is Commercial + Industrial zoning only (not the full residential roll). Victoria is the 2026 GENERAL assessment roll (SCHOOL duplicate rows omitted).
